Biological Data of Pest

  • Belongs to the insect order Isoptera. There are 3 main species of termites: Drywood Termites, Dampwood Termites & Subterranean Termites.
  • Establish their colonies in 2 ways: Primary reproductives "swarming" from the nest, and Secondary reproductives breaking away in a process called "sociotomy".
  • A well defined caste system.
